Paris had twitted “cocaine bag” as hers

The 29 year old heiress claimed that the bag she was carrying – in which police found cocaine – was not hers, and belonged to a girlfriend.
But it appears that Paris is dismantling the defence for her recent drug arrest, as on July 15 – she tweeted a picture of the distinctive Chanel bag along with a tweet saying: “Love My New Chanel Purse I Got Today”.

From the photo of the arrest it is not very distinctive which handbag Paris is carying, but website Radaronline are claiming that the twitted purse is the bag she was carrying when arrested on cocaine possession charges in Las Vegas last weekend.

Paris was also seen with the bag before the arrest as she partied in St Tropez, France, on July 25.
She denied the cocaine found in her car in Las Vegas is hers. This is the same defence she used when facing drug charges in South Africa last month. She escaped punishment when a South African court dropped marijuana-smoking charges against her.

The hotel heiress was arrested on Friday when police claimed they found a local form of cannabis, known as “dagga”, in her handbag. A friend and former Playboy model admitted possession. She was then placed under arrest “for possession of a controlled substance cocaine.” Paris is facing a felony charge that carries 1 to 4 years in prison.

As RadarOnline.com reported earlier today, police did not give Paris a blood test, as well as did not investigate her purse straight away (but only when she was inside Wynn), and both these matters could ultimately help her defence.

Paris’ boyfriend, Waits, being fired after arrest

Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits were stopped by police on Friday night, as they were driving along Las Vegas Boulevard. Police pulled them both over outside the plush Wynn Hotel, where a crowd quickly gathered to watch the couple being arrested.
Yesterday the hotel confirmed that Waits has been fired from his job after less than a week as top managing partner of the Tryst Nightclub at Wynn and XS The Nightclub at Encore.
A spokesman, refering to hotel’s decision, said: ‘Cy Waits has been separated from the company and is free to pursue other interests. Wynn has no further comment on this matter.’

Paris has also been banned from the two Wynn resorts on the Las Vegas Strip.

During the investigation, one officer accompanied Hilton inside the Hotel – and saw what they claim was a bag of cocaine fall out of her handbag, while another officer carried out three field sobriety tests on Waits.

Although Waits is said to have successfully followed the cop’s finger with his eyes, he failed to pass the “one leg stand test”. The officer revealed he swayed, used his arms and even put his other foot down while trying to stand on one leg. Waits, who was wearing a shirt and trousers, also failed the “walk and turn” test. He stopped mid-walk, didn’t touch his heel to his toe and used his arms to balance. The officer, who observed that Waits had bloodshot eyes and smelt of alcohol, arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The results of blood tests carried out on Cy are still pending.

Paris Hilton arrested for Cocaine possession (again!)

Paris Hilton was arrested on the Las Vegas Strip late Friday after police smelled “the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle,” according to the police report. Wait (Paris’ boyfriend) was driving his black Cadillac Escalade, with Paris sitting next to him. When stopped by police, a small amount of cocaine was found in her possession. The charges could land Paris anything from probation to four years in prison, she could also face a $5,000 fine.
Hiltons’s lawyer, David Chesnoff, released a statement on her behalf: “Paris Hilton was released this morning on her own recognizance. This matter will be dealt with in the courts not in the media and I encourage people not to rush to judgment until all of the facts have been dealt with in a court of law. There will be no interviews and no more comments at this time.”

The 29-year-old heiress and Las Vegas nightclub mogul Cy Waits were booked into the Clark County jail, police said. Hilton was released early Saturday morning without bail. When police stopped the car and a crowd began to gather, Paris told the officers she was “extremely embarrassed” and asked if she could use the bathroom at the Wynn and go inside to “prevent her from being molested by the growing crowd and also asked to go somewhere private and out of the public’s eye until the investigation was over.” Officer Marcus Martin said police found that Hilton had a substance that tests later showed to be cocaine, but he did not say how much of the drug was found. She was arrested on a felony cocaine possession charge. Boyfriend Waits failed a field sobriety test, according to the police report, and was also arrested in the incident and charged with driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol.

Paris hadn’t commented on the arrest publicly, although she appeared to be tweeting. After her arrest, she told fans she was in bed watching the television show “Family Guy” and then she announced she was going to bed. It was unclear if the tweets were coming from her, being sent out on time release or being sent by someone else.

Earlier this week, as per our article below, Paris was in the news when a man allegedly tried to break into her Los Angeles home. Authorities have said that someone carrying two big knives banged on the celebrity’s window on Tuesday. She posted a photo of the arrest on Twitter and described it as “scary.” Nathan Lee Parada (the unknown at the time man) faces a felony burglary charge.

Paris had another run-in with the law over alleged drug possession earlier this summer when was arrested after the Brazil-Netherlands World Cup match in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, on suspicion of possession of marijuana. The case was then dropped at a midnight court hearing after officials learned that someone else in her group was smoking.

Hilton pleaded no contest in 2007 to alcohol-related reckless driving and was sentenced to 45 days in jail. After spending about 23 days in jail, Hilton told CNN host Larry King that the experience caused her to re-evaluate the role partying played in her life. Guess she is till working on her re-evaluation process!

Man arrested trying to break into Paris’ home

A man has been arrested at Paris Hilton’s home in Los Angeles after Paris said he was trying to break in while holding two big knives. Police say she was woken up by the sound of him banging on her windows.

Reports in the US claim she saw him on her CCTV cameras and called for help immediately. Paris posted a picture on her Twitter page of the suspect in handcuffs on her lawn, surrounded by police.

She tweeted: “So scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes. Cops are here arresting him.” The Los Angeles police department says the man was arrested at around 6.30am and that his motive is unknown.

He’s said to be in his 40s and was caught before he was able to get into the house. Police haven’t released a name. Dawn Miller, Paris Hilton’s publicist, said in a statement: “Paris is naturally shaken by the events but is unharmed and well.
“She is very thankful to her security team and the police for their swift and diligent response.”

Paris moved into the five bedroom mansion in 2007. It’s in the wealthy area of Sherman Oaks in Los Angeles where there are many high-end fashion boutiques and posh restaurants.
She apparently bought it for more than six million dollars (£3.8m) and lives there with her two dogs. In 2008, a burglar broke into the same house and stole two million dollars (£1.3m) of jewellery.

The police said a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and gloves got in through the front door, raided her bedroom and escaped with a load of her belongings. She wasn’t home at the time.

Gaga slams Paris about school past

Lady Gaga has slammed Paris Hilton saying she ‘didn’t give a f**k’ at school and banished any hopes of a collaboration between the pair.

It has recently surfaced that both of the Hilton sisters and Lady Gaga went to the same school: New York’s Convent Of The Sacred Heart school. However, Lady Gaga has spoken out to make it very clear that the sisters and her are very different individuals.

Speaking to Q magazine, 24-year-old Gaga confirmed that she did attend the same school as both Hilton heiresses Nicky, 26, and Paris, 29, but she added that despite Paris’ brief singing career, she doesn’t see Paris as an ‘artist.’

‘People assume that all the girls who went to my school were like Nicky and Paris, and the truth is that I went to a very, very religious school and some girls were very artistic and some did drugs and didn’t give a f**k.’

‘It was just like any other high school. Except we had nuns.’ And conforming to the stereotypes, she said: ‘I was the smart, studious theatre and music student. I didn’t hang out with all the popular blonde girls. I wasn’t blonde really until I was 20 years old.’

Paris isn’t likely to react kindly to these fresh comments from Lady Gaga as she has previously spoken of her admiration for the singer and even gone as far to call her a ‘style icon’. She recently tweeted: ‘Dancing to Lady Gaga. Her outfits are so amazing! She is such a style icon! No one can pull it off like she can!’

And the Hilton heiress even hinted she wanted to work with her in an interview: ‘I love her style. I love her music. I listen to her all the time. I would love to work with her. She seems so cool. She is a very smart girl.’

Unfortunately for Paris it doesn’t seem like that collaboration will be happening any time soon.

Paris vs Kim feud continues

They have both become famous without having to work too hard, but these days Kim Kardashian is slightly higher on the ‘celebrity’ scale than Paris Hilton. And for that, Paris is not happy!

It has been reported that Paris recently became enraged when her brunette frenemy, Kim, was given the star treatment over her. Their famous spat was re-ignited when the pair exchanged bitchy words at a Las Vegas club, and when Paris found out that Kim had been flown to the event on a private jet, she went ballistic.

A source told US Weekly, “Paris got so mad! She could not believe Kim got a jet and she didn’t. She used to get the jets.” Paris was “fuming” when the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star got all the attention from the crowd, particularly when she was cheered like a hero for yelling, “Now let’s hear some real music!” after the DJ played Paris’s song (at Paris’s request) ‘Stars Are Blind’.

The 29-year-olds are old school friends and Paris was responsible for introducing Kim to the world of showbiz, but the pair fell out when the original ‘it’ girl became jealous of the new ‘it’ girl’s increasing popularity (and made a pretty evil comment about her curvy butt!).

Kim Kardashian & Paris Hilton Ignore Each Other in Vegas

Socialites Paris Hilton & Kim Kardashian, who were once best of friends, ignored each other at a party even though they were seated at the same table.

The reality stars, who used to be frequently photographed together at events, did not speak to each other at the party Las Vegas on Friday despite being seated together, reported Contactmusic.

“Paris arrive at around 3am and was on the same table as Kim but they remained frosty and didn’t look at each other or even speak,” said a source.
Although Kardashian, 29, arrived early and stayed for the entire party, the blonde heiress addressed the crowd briefly before leaving the venue.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star didn’t appear to be upset by the snub and insisted she had enjoyed the bash. “What a fun night in Vegas with @JonathanCheban!!! In LA already but might go back for round 2! (sic)” she wrote on Twitter.

It was reported earlier this year that the pair fell out when Hilton became jealous of Kardashian’s increasing popularity.

Kardashian’s former publicist Jonathan Jaxson said at the time, “Even when I would talk to editors of magazines and other media outlets about featuring Kim, they would comment on how they are moving past Paris in hopes to bring someone fresh to the spotlight, like Kim.”

Paris Hilton Debuts Spring 2011 Shoe Collection

Paris Hilton was in Las Vegas on Wednesday, August 18. For a change, Paris was not stopping by for partying but instead for business. During the day, the 29-year-old socialite debuted her Spring 2011 shoe collection, which includes stilettos, platforms and flats, at Magic Convention, Las Vegas Convention Center.

Hitting the event in a black ensemble and a lovely small braid on her blonde locks, Paris struck a pose with some of her shoes collection, including a glamor pink satin shoe, a blue heel and another black stiletto. The shoes themselves were displayed on a console table in white wood.

The day before the unveiling, Paris revealed that she was thrilled about showing the new designs. “I’m so excited to be at Magic with my new shoe line,” she said. “Shoes are such an important part of a woman’s wardrobe, I always try to design shoes that are flirty and fun, that will make a woman feel stylish and sexy when she’s wearing them. After all, every woman needs a good pair of heels!”

Paris Hilton sued for $35million for breach of contract

Paris Hilton is having an extremely bad hair day. The 29-year-old socialite, as pictured promoting her Clip N Go line of hair extensions in New York in 2008, is being sued for breach of contract by a hair extension company, Hairtech International Inc.

Hairtech International Inc claim Hilton signed a contract to wear and promote their product but instead was seen wearing a rival brand. They allege that Hilton was “seen in magazines and on television not wearing [their] hair extensions and was in fact wearing competitors’ hair extension products.”

According to the lawsuit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Hairtech is seeking $35 (£22.4m) million in damages, which is apparently 10 times what Hilton was paid under contract. In addition it also makes claims that Hilton’s party-filled lifestyle goes against its marketing campaign, and alleges she missed a ‘very important’ launch party to celebrate the hair extension line in 2007 because she was serving in jail. Hilton served 23 days after she was caught driving twice on a suspended license while on probation for reckless driving.

Phone and e-mail messages to Hilton’s publicist were not immediately returned. The company say this lost them $6.6m (£4.2m) although a jury or judge will have to decide whether Paris owes any money if the case goes to trial.

This is not the first time Paris has been in trouble for allegedly missing promotional duties. Producers of the National Lampoon film Pledge This! sued the star back in 2008 in Miami, claiming she did not promote the film properly. However, a judge ruled that she would not have to cough up the approximate $8.3 (£5.3m) million it cost to make the comedy film, which played in fewer than two dozen cinemas and made less than $3m (£1.9m) globally. It is still being decided in court as to whether or not she will have to pay back part, or all, of a $1m (£640,882) fee for appearing in and executive-producing the 2006 film.

Paris dresses up as her idol Monroe

Paris Hilton launched her new fragrance Tease by dressing up as her idol Marilyn Monroe. Paris, who held the perfume release at My House in Hollywood, California on Tuesday 10th August, channeled Marilyn’s look in a white skintight bandage dress, white heels, bright blond hair and red lipstick.

Marilyn-impersonating Paris struck a pose with her new perfume which is well-kept in a tiny purple bottle. Prior to hitting the launch, Paris wrote on her Twitter page, “At home getting ready for my Tease fragrance launch event.

Getting dressed up as my Idol and Favorite Icon Marilyn. Loves it!” She also posted an advertising pic which urged fans to buy Tease if they want “to smell irresistible.”

During the launch, Paris was accompanied by some of her star pals, including “Entourage” actor Adrian Grenier and “Britain’s Got Talent” judges Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan. Adrian, Amanda and Piers all opted black ensemble for the evening event.

Paris Hilton launched Tease six years after she unleashed her debut self-titled scent in 2004. Tease is Paris’ seventh perfume after Paris Hilton, Just Me, Heiress, Can Can, Fairy Dust and Siren. According to critics, the new scent includes “fuji apple, white peach, bergamot, white flowers, amber, blond wood and hot sand.”

Paris shows off new boyfriend and meets celeb dog!

Paris Hilton has been busy making all kinds of new friends. Paris recently cuddled up with an adorable, Hollywood-ready dog and also showed off her new boyfriend Cy Waits in a rare couple appearance at the Grove on Friday.

The two hit the famed outdoor mall for some birthday shopping when the animal-loving Hilton came across the star-ready pooch. Paris and the glamourous dog quickly became good friends and they obviously had lots in common with their lifestyles, shown by similar shades!

But her real new BFF is Waits, whom Hilton has been quietly dating for a few months. Waits, and his twin brother Jesse, 34, are nightclub entrepreneurs currently dating respective high-profile girlfriends. Jessie is involved with Playboy’s 2008 Playmate of the Year, and Brody Jenner’s ex, Jayde Nicole.

In June, Cy Waits told Las Vegas weekly, ‘Paris and I are getting along beautifully.’ But Paris, 29, has been so low-key about her new boyfriend that she rarely speaks of him. The publicity-mad star has broken from Hilton-tradition by refraining from Tweeting incessantly about her love-life. Hilton did broadcast a note about her sunglass-wearing canine encounter at the mall however.

‘This dog is awesome! Love the shades,’ she wrote. Hilton didn’t even mention her boyfriend when appearing on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on Thursday, focusing much of her energy on her new perfume — appropriately named, Tease.

Paris works hard in Ibiza

Life is tough for Paris Hilton, as she slaves away during another hard day’s work in Ibiza, which consisted of dancing, pouting and partying all night.

Paris was photographed having a night out on the Spanish Island in the DJ Suite club and made sure she got to know the DJ himself. Paris wore her favourite silver headband accompanied by a mini-dress with a plunging neckline as photographers surrounded the blonde.

Paris had been in Ibiza the whole weekend, as part of a month-long summer holiday in Europe with her sister Nicky and a few other friends.

Paris has already been to Sardinia and Italy’s coast and the French Riviera since leaving South Africa after the World Cup final. The reality TV star also recently shot her new music video on the party island for her up-coming record, which she says has been inspired by Kylie Minogue.
