Paris gets into lace panty suit

Paris Hilton has her panties in a bunch over $1.5 million she claims an Italian lingerie company owes her.

The hotel heiress was set to launch a line of lacy delicates, beachwear and pajamas in Europe last year, but the project failed because the company, Le Bonitas, refused to promote it, Hilton claims.

The lack of promotion put Le Bonitas in breach of its five-year contract with Paris Hilton Entertainment, a deal that was supposed to net Hilton $1.5 million in guaranteed royalties, according to documents filed in Manhattan federal court last month.

But Le Bonitas says the blond celebutante has it backward; she sank the project by ignoring designs and prototypes sent to her for approval.
