Paris Hilton firing back at hair extension company over lawsuit

Paris Hilton is not going down without a fight – at least when it comes to a lawsuit filed against her by a hair extension company. According to a new report, the heiress / reality TV star has filed a countersuit against Hairtech, who originally fired a $35 million suit claiming that Hilton not only did not adequately promote their hair extensions, but actually wore product from another brand.

The court documents claim that Hairtech “sought to capitalize on Ms. Hilton’s brand and fame by offering to pay substantial ‘guaranteed’ royalties in exchange for the right to associate Ms. Hilton’s brand with their line of hair products.” Not only that, but the suit claims that Hairtech did not even compensate Paris properly and changed up their agreement in order to best suit their benefit. Paris is asking for $2.1 million in total damages.

This suit has all sorts of layers to it, since part of the “promotional appearances” the company wanted Paris to make happened while she was in jail a few years ago.

Do you think either side is going to win anything out of this?
