Piers Morgan & Paris say ‘I do’ in Las Vegas

Paris Hilton may be one of the most talked-about socialites of this generation, but at least she has a good sense of humor about it. The proof? She agreed to marry “America’s Got Talent” judge (and former “Celebrity Apprentice” winner) Piers Morgan in a fake ceremony for Morgan’s new British TV show.

The two met up at a Vegas wedding chapel, and their “wedding” was attending by several “celebrities” including Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, and some members of the Rat Pack.

After the ceremony, Piers reportedly had this to say: “You know what it’s like – you have a few drinks, spend too long on the blackjack table, get over-excited and decide to do something silly…I have to say, Paris scrubbed up to be a beautiful bride. It was magical.” He also joked that he “wasn’t entirely sure” the wedding was fake since they did in fact go through all of the vows.

And yes, the two kissed following the ceremony, though it’s fair to say it lacked some “conviction.” In real life, Piers is engaged to writer Celia Walden, while Paris has recently been dating Doug Reinhardt.
